I am planning to install ubuntu for a dual boot with vista, with ubuntu as the primary OS. I've had my computer for quite a while and have accumulated a lot of files. Is it OK to leave all of that in the windows partition? I want to keep all of my stuff together, will it be a pain trying to save new files in the old partition? Or should I make the ubuntu partition the primary storage area and delete my stuff from windows (after backing up) and copy them into the new ubnutu partition? This would of course affect the size of the partitions I need to make.
