CD Error While Installing

While installing 8.10 from the CD I keep getting the error message

"Could not access the CD, please make sure other applications are not using it and try again"

It happens when the installation bar is about 30% complete.

Any ideas?

Check the cd for defects (option at the main menu) if you have not already done so also try burning at x4 or less.
Are you trying to install using the wubi installer or to its own partition?
