This hosting site allows you to upload files max 2MB per file, and unlimited space. It is no hassle, meaning you dont need to fill out anything, and no sign up is needed. Perfect for linux users who need to transfer files to other people, or simply dont want to use sourceforge or somthing similar. Files are never deleted, and best of all, its hosted on a linux server!

thanks for sharing. But what exactly do you mean by "support for linux zip formats"? I can copy a .gz file to any server anyway?
Sorry for my n00bness! :( I'd like to learn more about this.

Yea, its just some free file hosting services only let you upload .zip, while this one will let you do .gz,.bz2,.tar,.tgz, etc.

I guess you could try tripod.com. They allow any extension I remember. And you get 25MB free space! FTP enabled! :) Check it out and post it here! :)

Yea, you could do that, but I am trying to make a service for people who just need to upload quick files/avatars, and dont wanna deal with all the hassle.
