View Full Version : [ubuntu] Ubuntu will not install

Hello everyone. I am trying to install 8.04 through the live CD. When I double click, right click > open, and go to install anywhere else and open it, nothing happens. The install window never comes up. I have did a previous installation with this disk with no problems.

hopefully this about a new problem because you have a thread from october, about an install problem. i didn't look at the date when i first posted. but you should know the drill. what are the specs of the problem computer?

Intel celeron D 930
XFX 8600 GTS
1 gig of ram

EDIT: I burned a 8.10 CD and it installed fine.
