Need help with XFiDrv_Linux_Public_US_1.00

Hi, I'm completely new to using Ubuntu, and I just downloaded the files for my sound card driver. It's in a folder called XFiDrv_Linux_Public_US_1.00, and I have no idea how to install this driver. Can anyone help me?
