Songbird

Can anyone tell be how to install Songbird for Linux. It is downloaded as a .tar.gz file. I am trying to find a application that will work with my iPod touch that will let me manage playlist for my iPod. This looked like a good prospect.

Easiest way to install is with a deb package you can download the deb package from here (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Songbird)
Then double click on it to install.
