I recently went a little crazy and went overboard installing Wicd hoping it would help with a problem wifi connect in Intrepid. In doing this it deleted gnome wireless manager and didnt work at all (i know i know).
Is there a way to download the packages and save them to a flash drive (im on Acer Aspire One) to reinstall? I have NO network ANYTHING so i need an alternative...
Any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated. I have a (ewwwwwwww) xp partition that works as a backup when i hose ubuntu getting adventurous.
Thanks everyone!

EDIT:Figured it out. Its amazing what frustration and a few beers will accomplish in ubuntu!
