Install With a jump drive.

Hi all,
I have a toshiba portege m200 and am trying to install ubuntu on it.
It does not have a cd-rom drive and i am wondering if ican install it using a jump drive.

I don't think that m200 can boot from a usb stick. You can put the drive into a another laptop do the install and swap it back it..

Did this work? I have the same problem; an m200 without a cd/dvd and no os.
