adding applications to office sub folder at top of screen

Hello!

I recently got Moneydance. I would like to put an icon in the "office" sub folder in the "applications" draw down menu found at the upper left hand corner of my screen (intrepid ibex 8.10).

I'm not sure I even remember how to do that in windows!

any help = greatly appreciated!

If you go to system -preferences-main menu you can just drag/drop it into a office folder , i think .

Do you mean that the application shows up in the menu but has no icon or do you mean that the application doesn't show up period?
