I have a Macally iMediaKey keyboard with several hotkeys on the top. Using Keyboard Shortcuts, I have been able to successfully configure volume control, media player control, etc. Works like a charm, except for one issue.

The "Volume Up" hotkey is configured in Keyboard Shortcuts for "Volume Up"--it's key 0x92. The key does increase the volume--I see the popup in the middle of the screen show the new volume. However, the key also starts the screensaver!

What can I do to disable the screensaver hotkey? Key 0x92 is configured nowhere else in Keyboard Shortcuts...

Thanks!

This is still the behavior in 10.10. It would be great if a workaround would surface as this is a somewhat annoying behavior.
