I am looking for tips and advice. I am currently using Fedora Core 5 with Seamonkey 1.1.9 being used as a browser / mail client.
I have downloaded ubuntu 8.10 and installed it succesfully on another (now ex-windows) machine, there I am using the Firefox 3.0.5 browser supplied.
I managed to remove the Evolution mail client and install Thunderbird 2.0.0.18 instead, I prefer the individual inboxes for seperate accounts.
Now I want to repeat this on my main machine.
Can I do this as an upgrade to the existing system and if so how do I migrate the saved emails from SeaMonkey to the 'T'bird client?
If I cannot upgrade and have to clean install is there a way to get the email saved and re-installed, without having to write it piecemeal to a CD and then re-install it?
