Hello
As I don't know exactly the name of my problem I will have to describe.
When I turn my computer on I don't get anything on the screen from the time the GRUB message disappears until the graphical login splashscreen pops up. There used to be written UBUNTU and a horizontal bar indicating how the loading was progressing.
Why is it not there anymore and how do I get it back?
I had 8.04 working perfectly well and stupidly upgraded to 8.10 which I don't like. It couldn't recognize my webcam and enlightenment has disapeared. (Installed at least 3 times, never worked) so I re-installed ubuntu 8.04.
