For those of you concerned about the Canadian Governments recent attempts at legislation involving easy access to personal information by enforcement agencies (in regards to the internet) (Bill C-74) there is now a Canadian organization set up to represent the public. I am not involved in the organization but feel that they provide a voice that has been sadly lacking.

They advise the following:

Online Rights Canada (ORC) is a grassroots organization that promotes the public's interest in technology and information policy. We believe that Canadians should have a voice in copyright law, access to information, freedom from censorship, and other issues that we face in the digital world.

The website can be found at:

http://www.onlinerights.ca/

Take a look and see what you think. If you feel that it is valuable please pass on the address to friends and others who may be interested. They have an online petition regarding the above mentioned legislation, if you are interested.
