hello

I like to install ubuntu server edition 8.10 in an directorie on the hard disk. so that when i go to the root directorie "/" there is an folder OS whith in it the system folders like "home "etc" "opt" etc...

is that posible?

thanks for the info :p

i like an nice and clean "/" directorie. but i can live with it.

Well, you can have the Server edition installed in a vm like VirtualBox (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/VirtualBox).
This way you have the hole server in one file..
Ain't that clean? ;-)
