So it seems the RIAA is going to stop the lawsuits and go after people doing P2P sharing of music files. Okay, a little problem with that. You see, on Ubuntu, one of my favorite ways to download each release of Ubuntu is by the torrent method with BitTorrent, and then I also leave it running for an hour so that I provide my computer to serve up the file as well to others. But I don't want an ISP or the RIAA to sniff the net and see I'm running BitTorrent, and then accuse me of using it to share music. I can guarantee you -- I'm not sharing music at all. I listen to Pandora throughout the day.
So, is there a risk by me using BitTorrent, in context of this new change from the ISPs and RIAA?
