Laptop Screen turns off

hi,

I have an issue with my the screen of my laptop. After 10 min it turns itself off.

I already checked the power settings in the xfce4 power manager and it still turn itself off.

This even happens while I am working on a console, outside the window manager.

Any suggestion?
Is there a way to control this behaviour?

That solved the problem when I am in xfce,

but when I am in a terminal (without running xfce) the screen turns off.

I dont know how to see if it is a BIOS setting, any suggestion?
