I'm working on a last minute Christmas gift for my uncle.
If I make a bootable live usb install using the usb-creator tool
can it still be used as a normal flash drive?

Ideally I would like to have it running some FOSS portable apps for windows as well as being a bootable ubuntu live drive.

Is this feasible?

Thanks

EDIT: GAH! Title spelling error! My face burns with shame!

Yes, I'm pretty sure the new USB-Creator tool just boots a kernel image via syslinux. You should still be able to use the flash drive normally (except for the fact that Ubuntu will take up some space...).
