Trying to update NVIDIA drivers

Hi there,

I am trying to update the NVIDIA drivers on my system. But when i run the .run file from the NVIDIA website i get the error that the kernel-source or the kernel-devel are not installed. I have tried to install them but am not sure if they are on the system now. Also the NVIDIA installation program says that if I know the kernel source path i can use it in the command line.

What should I do?

Go into System, Administration, Software Sources, and make sure the box next to 'Source Code' is ticked.
