Hi everyone,

I am having troubles with the installation of freeciv under 8.10. I have tried both the sdl version and the gtk version with the same results. I have tested it on another box running 8.4 with no troubles.

Here is the problem. I select the packages and install (freeciv-client-sdl, freeciv-data, freeciv-server, freeciv-sound-standard). After the install there is no menu shortcut (minor issue) and no /usr/games/civclient (major issue).

I have tried removing the app and reinstalling will no success.

Does anyone else running intrepid have the problem? I am trying to determine if it is a bug or a glitch on my system that can be circumvented via a simple file copy.

Thanks,

Josh
