I have a DV9000 laptop dual booting Vista and ubuntu. I fried my MoBo and had it replaced. when it came back it did not recognize the wireless internet. I decided I might as well start new with the new version of ubuntu and fix the issue. I reformatted the ubuntu hard drive and put in the live Cd but it went to grub error 17. I then tried using an old kubuntu CD but it can't get past the splash screen. What gives? :(
