Hi I have little/no knowledge o Open Firmware and I'm trying to fix a friends G4 Powermac. It's not responding to any normal methods of installation (eg pressing 'c' on startup) so I booted it up into Open Firmware where I've tried a few basic commands 'boot cd0' etc but this didn't work either.
I remember finding a README file on an old Ubuntu PPC disc, 6.10 I thought but I got it out and couldn't find the file, I remember this having detailed instructions on Open Firmware installation.
If anyone could point me in the direction of the file or give me a link to some better advice on how to boot up through Open Firmware that would be great.
