Install from image to other machines

Hi,
Is there a way to install the ubuntu from an image, which contains the apps and updates, to other machines?

The machines have identical spec. I have done googling a bit, and came up with two solutions so far: G4l and clonezilla.

Anybody knows a better and/or faster way.

Appreciate any ideas.
