nvidia drivers are not working

I have installed my nvidia 7100 gs driver and it is also saying that they in use but why are they not working??

I am not able to set my resolution above 800x600.


Please help me

Have you tried adjusting the resolution using nvidia settings (System Admin>NVIDIA X server Settings) If its not installed you can install by

sudo apt-get install nvidia-settings
