Hello guys, I'm wondering if there's any app in Ubuntu official repos (or not) which I can use to connect to Facebook messenger without having to open my browser.
Thanks!

I use Facebook for old friends from school that I don't see anymore (college & such) who aren't so much into computers or the interent. It's the only way I get to keep up with 'em, and I hate keeping Facebook open constantly.
So, it works for me. ;)

If they used XMPP for the chat portion of the Website, I'd be happy. Saying as they don't, I'm not.

the pidgin developers refuse to add this plugin in to the main pidgin codebase because supposedly facebook is adding a XMMP interface to their chat.
so....be happy

Ah, good and bad. I'll not be able to ignore people in the future, and I'll have 3 different Jabber accounts (of course, due to its design, that's not an issue).
