I was searching around over at the transgaming.org forums and noticed a few posts stating that Ubuntu users, who game and would like to use Cedega should use Redhat, Fedora, etc. Because Ubuntu doesn't 'agree' with Cedega and doesn't work well.

Is this true? I hope it isn't because i have just about everything going rite on Kubuntu/Ubuntu and im also a gaming person. If this is true, which i hope it's not i don't really want to change distributions because Ubuntu just works for me.

Not a gamer myself, but one of my buddies has tried Cedega on Ubuntu, and some games apparently work fantastically. However, Brothers In Arms wouldn't even load up for him, and he had some problems with UT2004...long story on that one, so don't start in with that it's a native port.

It worked with UT99 for me. Slower then on windows though.
