Hi!

I'm Assuming this thread goes here...

How do I get Gnome to remember the size and position of the windows I use when I close them? I've been searching everywhere in the settings but can't find a way to do it, and it's starting to get up my nerve, the way windows open with a completely arbitrary size/position.

Thank you very much for your answers.

Regards!

Good question. I wish there was a way to do that but I don't think there is.

There appears to be a bug in Gnome in 8.10 that stops the Save Session from working. Xfce does not have this problem; I don't know about KDE.

Check out my thread My Solution for "Placing Windows where you want them" (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1003338) and see if it is what you want...
