Whenever I install something with an apt, be it Synaptic, Add/Remove, or even the sudo apt command, the downloading works fine, but once it installs, it freezes at a random point, and sometimes when I restart the installation it'll freeze at a totally different point.
If I let it sit frozen for long enough, it installs perfectly and just fine, but this is still extremely annoying because I never know for sure if it's done, and if it's not, I have to remove the lock file, hope to **** I don't force quit autoremove too early, and then try again.
What gets me is this problem wasn't always here. It popped up randomly this morning.
