I installed the kubuntu packages a couple of days ago to try out KDE, and I've noticed that since then, when I boot into GNOME, the user switcher panel widget no longer works. It keeps crashing, and I can choose to either restart it (in which case it instantly crashes again) or let it stay off. I've observed this problem on two different PCs (one laptop, one desktop) both using 8.10. Does anyone know what might be causing this, and how to fix it?
