Okay. Every time my kernel updates, I have to tell the thing if I want to change menu.lst. What does it mean? I guess that's all I want to know. it says the difference between the two is a .2a will be added, but I don't know where.

You let it change automatically, especially if you did not previously change it extensively yourself.

Thattaway the new kernel will appear. And you'll boot into it.

Oth, if you changed it yourself, and do not want to let it be changed automatically, then you'll better take care to re-edit the menu.lst anew.

Just wondering, I never changed it, but on the three other machines with ubuntu on them, it never did that, just on my new pangolin.
