I've upgraded to OOo 3 and found two problems:
1 - Setting and field to autonumber does not work. I set the autonumber property to "Yes", save the table, and the autonumber property reverts to "No".
2 - I am unable to edit a fields properties after saving a table in edit mode.
I am running 8.04 Hardy on a Presario 1720us. I also experiment with other installs on this machine with a spare hard drive.
I believe these are an installation issue because Base 3 work fine on the experimental hd running 8.10 Intrepid, and neither problem existed in OOo 2.4 on the main hd running Hardy. On a working base 3 install I can edit field properties after they have been saved, and autonumber works fine.
I have run through everything I can find, and grasped at as many straws as possible. This doesn't seemed to have popped up before, at least not within Googles field of vision.
Any help would be most appreciated.
