If you are looking for a simple firewall, ufw (or gufw) is good.
It's default in Ubuntu.

I you are referring to something like PeerGuardian on Windows, i strongly recommend iplist, you can get the hardy/intrepid deb files on sourceforge, just google it. I have bee using it for about a year now, and i feel it is actually superior to "Moblock" and Peerguardian.
