8.10 stable load?

When will 8.10 likely be converted to LTS status? I haven't upgraded cause I just got my 8.04 the way I like it and don't have the patience to live through any issues. Also, I use compiz-fusion and cairo-dock. Are there any changes / surprises regarding those capabilities in 8.10?:confused:

8.10 will not be LTS. LTS status is usually determined long before release, and the next one won't be for probably a few releases.
