Hi,
Stupid me read the helpful little message that said upgrade to version 8 and I pressed the button. I was running version 6 which worked just fine, The system upgraded and when I got to the login page there was no font. Only blocks. When I get to the desktop no font again just blocks. I get error messages that I cannot read because it is in blocks. I can't read anything on the desktop. I can see icons and for some reason the firefox web browser has fonts.
Can anyone tell me how to restore the desktop font so that I can see what is going on. Preferably through a terminal window so that I can see what I'm typing.
The other option is if anyone knows how to get me back to version 6. I don't want to wipe the drive and start over. I have too many important files on it.
