When I right click on my mouse, sometimes the drop down menu shows up, but most of the time it does its own thing; opens pages in new window, opens in new tab, saves link, so on and so forth. Isn't it supposed to just open a menu when I right click? Can someone tell me how to fix this Please?

It's a well known bug in Firefox. A solution is to keep the right click pressed more time than usual (just half a sec more).

Let's hope it will be fixed in Firefox 3.1

If this is getting annoying, I suggest installing:
http://www.mousegestures.org/installation/

Just turn off all the actual mouse gestures if you don't want them (I did). It does, however, remove the need to hold down the right-mouse button, since it only brings up the menu when you release the button.
