I am dual booting my PC, Windows XP and Fedora 8. Fedora 8 crashed. I have a blank screen with Thunderbird, opera, and firefox boxes I can click. I display thunderbird all the time.
I want to load Ubnuntu 6.10 (because I have the CD). I will upgrade later. I don't want to lose any files I already have in /home /ect. I back up my file to an external disk. How can used the CD and not lose my files?
