[SOLVED] Byki software

Hello,

I have downloaded and installed the byki software. It's meant for windows, but it should also work with whine... The installation was ok, but now I can't start the program, what can I do?

You run the "Byki" from where you installed.

Yeah I know, since it didn't work I went in c: drive and did it over there and it said this:
Could not open Byki 4 express.lnk
There is no application installed for this file type

What can I do?

Hmmm, I've got a similar problem to the original poster, and running the file from the folder in wine made no difference - the problem persisted exactly as when I run it from the desktop file. Has anyone had anyone managed to get BYKI to run successfully on wine a more recently than 2006?

Wow, awesome that people are looking to fix this, I too am trying, well, haven't tried yet but I know it's not going to be easy to port BYKI over to Ubuntu 10.04, so, I'll have a go at it myself and report back if I have any developments.
