I'm getting a lot of graphical horridness with kubuntu, lines appear on the screen, strange graphical artifacts appear whenever I start a program up, and tick boxes and buttons have borders around them. This doesn't happen in xfce or gnome, and I've tried using both the latest driver for my 8800GT and the beta driver, but it made no difference switching. The worst culprit is firefox, and every tab looks as if the top of it has been chopped off and stuck on the bottom.
Any ideas?
