installing an app from iso file

I have ubuntu intrepid and want to install 'turnkey rails' from an .iso file. I managed to mount the .iso using Gmount-iso, and was hoping things would pick-up automatically from there (like in daemon tools for windows). But alas, nothing happened... What do I do??

I believe winrar can unpack an .iso :p
