well thats the question...basically i want something that handles everything for me (including compiz) until i get my arch install all configured...but ubuntu now hates my graphics card (see http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=713622)

I've used Fedora 8, and it was pretty nice. People are saying Fedora 10 is also good (I haven't tried it though).

Same here, on an atheros 5212/5213. Funny, it works on fc7 and fc8. :confused:

ill try mint but i dont think it will work (lat time i tried liveCD wouldnt boot...put me in busybox)
