I just installed restricted ati drivers for my graphics card and it screwed up my ubuntu. I can't see the menu or the bottom bar as we speak. I manage to open firefox by opening a file on my external hard drive that showed on my desktop. How can I open restricted drivers manager without having to click on it because I cant see it?

Also how can I open a terminal without having to click on Applications, Acessories, blah blah? because I can't se it either.

I guess the is a resolution issue... its to big for my monitor.

If you press Alt + F2 it will bring up the run command window. Form there you can change your screen resolution by typing in
"gnome-display-properties".
Or if you want the terminal type "gnome-terminal".

HELP! I CAN'T SEE THE MENU OR THE BOTTOM BAR! I don't want to have to reinstall ubuntu again that would suck....

Now that I think of it this firefox window is maximized perfectly.. so I don't now if its a resolution problem...
