Just wondering if there are any Vi like audio players, or at the very least controllable compleatley with the keyboard and p[lay FLAC.

cmus does have that goofy colon thing, but it is to vi what checkers is to chess. cplay is awesome in the same way that nano is awesome.

The Sox package comes with a little program called "play" that plays any audio files you pass to it.

Press Control-C to go to the next song, press Control-C twice to quit. The usual "suspend job" and "resume job" keyboard commands in Bash work to pause and resume playback.
