i was just wondering what is going on with feisty ...
no updates have come in for a while .. and just notices when i checked all
the repo's none exist and more ....

if i need to upgrade i will but i just got about everything working properly in this version ...

i also would like to know how to back up the entire os with all the settings
and drivers i have ...
complete and restore able

It reached its end of life with regards support and updates in October.

I think non LTS versions get 18 months of updates.

Yes, it's true, Feisty has reached its end of life. You don't need to upgrade if your current install is working ok. :)

i need to make a complete restoreable backup .. just in case things do not work

I use True Image from Acronis, a boot up cd which has never failed me, the downside being that it is not free, although older versions can sometimes be found on magazine covers.

There are several free alternatives, none of which I have tried so can't recommend one over another, but one I see mentioned a lot is partimage.
