So I have a huge problem with my wireless. Right now I have an onboard wireless adapter that uses the rtl8187(L?) driver. It's not the 8187B that I know for sure. The problem is that it has unacceptable connection status. It's max signal strength is 17% and it cuts out indefinitely in less than an hour. Now I want to know if using ndiswrapper and my linksys card with the wmp54gs drivers if I can get a normal wi-fi connection. I use my rtl8187 onboard card in Windows perfectly but even though it's supported in the newest linux kernel and in 8.10 it support is really really really bad.

So if I can for sure (to the best of your knowledge) get a much better wi-fi connection with my linksys pci card can someone tell me how to set it up using ndiswrapper? I already have ndiswrapper installed. It's just not doing anything.
