Hey guys! I am having a slight computer problem. I am a linux newbie and I have upgraded from 8.04 to 8.10. After I upgraded I started having problems with my graphics card a nvidia GeForce 8500 because it also upgraded my driver to my video card. I can't get my resolution above 800 X 600. I tried to go back to 8.04 and it still wouldn't let me get my graphics card back to where it should be. Any suggestions???? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

XOXOXOX,
Andrea

If your back on Hardy 8.04 (assume you did a clean install from disk) - read this and you should be able to re-install the nvidia driver. EnvyNG will help do so automatically and should make the driver install simpler. Just follow the instructions.
