Which wallpaper do you like the best?

i have simple tastes... so i made my own. Black back ground with the ubuntu boot loader logo in the lower right hand corner. i know i know.. lame.. but hey i like it.

I really don't care too much for any of the ones Canonical supplies. I mean, they're OK in a pinch, but aren't quite what I'm looking for in a wallpaper.

My preference is for the stuff from InterfaceLift.com (http://www.interfacelift.com/). They have an enormous collection of really jaw-dropping wallpaper. Frankly, I also think their collection of icons is not to be beat by anyone.

I personally like the Intrepid Ibex wallpaper the best out of the two. My absolute favorite is the Dawn of Ubuntu, though.

I started using ubuntu when Dawn of ubuntu was the default. It is still my favorite.

When I go looking for wallpapers, I always try to look for wallpaper packs. That way, I can get the same wallpaper in multiple colors and resolutions so that I can pick and choose which one is the best for my desktop.

I loved the dawn of ubuntu and hardy wallpapers But intrepid; yikes. Although I saw one on gnome-look that was really good (I know, subjective)

Dawn looks the best, but it's too contrasty for use. I would use the Hardy background given a choice of those three.
