hey ubuntuers, and archers, and whatever
Was poking around in amarok 1.4 (which I have only started using because its the only way to get cover art onto my mp3 player, but anyway)
pressing buttons, pulling levers, fliping switches, seeing what all the settings did, and I found something.
Settings > Show player window.
It gives you a mini mode WITHOUT closing the normal player. normally I hate those little things, its such a pain to bring them back to full size when you want to do something other than skip a track, but with this, the full player is still open.
I am going to go and buy a little screen to put that on now.

Now I have to check it out for myself :p

edit: that's awesome :D pretty good looking too plus you can detach the EQ although I'm still going to use global shortcuts and foxytunes to control it xD

not that many people seem amazed by this, they must have missed it.

It's cool, but I don't use it. I prefer the global-shortcuts way.
