hey ubuntuers, and archers, and whatever
Was poking around in amarok 1.4 (which I have only started using because its the only way to get cover art onto my mp3 player, but anyway)
pressing buttons, pulling levers, fliping switches, seeing what all the settings did, and I found something.
Settings > Show player window.
It gives you a mini mode WITHOUT closing the normal player. normally I hate those little things, its such a pain to bring them back to full size when you want to do something other than skip a track, but with this, the full player is still open.
I am going to go and buy a little screen to put that on now.
