I'm building a computer for "public use" (maximum of 10 users with their own very limited accounts) and I managed to use the excellent timekeeper app to control the daily login time etc. However, I'd still like to stop the unpivileged user group (all 10 users) for acessing the Gnome menus alltogether. So I'd only have the needed apps (Firefox, Pidgin, Skype, Abiword) as icons on the desktop. Is there anyway to do this? It would be excellent to apply that kind of a restriction for a user group instead of defining the restrictions individually.
