[SOLVED] Which updates to install?

Ok, well I finally got xubuntu installed, and a working wireless connection established.

I went to update and there is 100 updates available to download and install. Being new to this OS and linux how do I know what to choose and not to choose?

Ditto: you have the power of choice, and most have some kind of description available.

I usually find it easiest to install all available updates. That way, the important stuff is covered. As you find your way around the system, you'll soon get a feel for which you should give priority to.

ok, thanks to both of you for replying. i figured i should just install all of it. just a little overwhelming to see all those updates, but thats no more than doing a fresh install of WinXP. lol. thanks again.
