Downgrade

Hope all is well

I was thinking of downgrading my Ubuntu 8.10 to 8.04 because i've heard there are no brightness issues there (my laptop's brightness goes down when i open a movie in vlc)

Is it possible to downgrade

Is there a huge difference between ubuntu 8.10 and 8.04?

The easiest way to downgrade would be to backup your stuff and do a clean install of hardy. It is not very easy to downgrade.
