Hello,
I just installed xubuntu 8.10 on my Toshiba Laptop A35S159, I turned off splash screen and what happens is at random steps it will just hand there until I press a bunch of buttons. then it will continue. I don't know if it will ever finish booting by itself because I have left it 15min and it hadn't booted yet. This is a mobile P4, could it be something with SpeedStep?
